KEBIJAKAN PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI EKONOMI DESA MAUR BARU KECAMATAN RUPIT KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS UTARA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the village government's policy in developing the economic potential of Maur Baru Village. The problem in this study focuses on the policy of developing village economic potential that has economic value to be developed in 2020. Qualitative descriptive research method, research data collection by carrying out observations, interviews, and documentation. The research focus is on the policy of developing the village's economic potential from the aspect of problem identification, the existence of goals, and the existence of a plan. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman Model interactive model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the policy of developing the village's economic potential from the aspect of problem identification, the existence of goals, the existence of a plan was not stipulated in the Village Regulation so that it had not been of value for the welfare of the community. Identification of problems in developing the village's economic potential has not been carried out properly, exploring the economic potential by establishing a culinary tourism program. The village government's desire to develop the village's economic potential, clearing peat land, rice fields, fish ponds, and fish farming has failed. The existence of a village economic potential development plan is constrained by human resources, internal and external cooperation.
