Abstract

ABSTRACT

Structure plan is one of the important stages in building construction to ensure the safety, strength, rigidity, and stability of the structure against various working loads. This study analyzes the structure of the Musi Rawas District Attorney's office building through manual calculations and modeling using ETABS V software.22. The analysis was carried out on the upper structural elements which include columns, beams, floor slabs, stairs, and roof trusses with reference to SNI 1727:2020 on the Minimum load for the design of buildings and other structures, SNI 1726:2019 on earthquake resistance planning procedures for building and Non-building structures, and SNI 2847:2019 on structural concrete requirements for buildings. The research method used is quantitative analysis method by utilizing primary data in the form of field survey results and shop drawings, as well as secondary data in the form of standard plan, literature, and technical specifications of the building. Stages of this study include data identification, calculation of load, analysis of the upper structure, three-dimensional modeling using ETABS V.22, deep force analysis, as well as structure safety evaluation based on the results of manual calculation and software output. The results showed that all elements of the upper structure meet the requirements of strength and safety in accordance with the provisions of SNI, which is taken as an example in the calculation of the column (K1) reinforcement ratio of 0.01<0.018<0.06 the value is between the minimum limit of 0.01 and the maximum limit, so that it meets the requirements of the longitudinal reinforcement ratio in accordance with the provisions of SNI 2847:2019 Article 18.7.4.1 and based on the calculation, the shear strength of the concrete plan (ϕVn) of 156.592 kN is obtained, while the shear force of the concrete plan (ϕVn) is 156.592 kN, while the shear force factor (vu) of 6.042 KN. Because the value of ϕVn is greater than Vu (156.592 kN>6.042 kN), the cross section meets the shear strength requirements of SNI 2847:2019 Article 22.3.9.1 , so that the shear capacity of concrete is able to withstand the working shear force. Calculation of reinforcement of columns, beams, plates, and stairs shows that the installed reinforcement area is greater than the required reinforcement area, while the shear capacity of concrete and shear reinforcement is able to withstand the ultimate shear force that occurs. Structural analysis using ETABS V.22 shows that the distribution of internal forces, deformations, and the response of the structure to combined loads are within permissible limits. The results of running ETABS also showed that the structural elements work according to their functions without experiencing indications of structural failure so that the Musi Rawas District Attorney's office building meets the requirements of security, strength, and stability of the structure based on applicable planning standards.
