Abstract

Earthworm farming can be done as an effort to utilize the surrounding waste. Kharrsa Farm is one of the goat and sheep farms in Malang Regency that cultivates earthworms (ANC) to utilize livestock manure as a medium for earthworms. Besides the earthworm medium, which can be sold as organic fertilizer, the earthworm products themselves can be sold alive. However, Kharrsa Farm faces challenges as a business entity in selling live earthworms, which prompted Dr. Mengabdi from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Brawijaya University to conduct outreach on processing earthworms into earthworm flour to increase product value. This outreach activity was conducted on July 15, 2023, at Kharrsa Farm, Malang Regency, using methods such as observation, outreach, practical earthworm flour production, mentoring (partner monitoring), Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and evaluation. The results of the service include knowledge, understanding, and skills of Kharrsa Farm workers in making earthworm flour.
