OPTIMALISASI PENDIDIKAN POLITIK MASYARAKAT PADA BADAN KESATUAN BANGSA DAN POLITIK

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the role of the national unity and politics agency in implementing political education in the scope of Lubuklinggau south Sumatera province towards the community in regard with the importance of political education, community responsibility and rights as the citizen. A qualitative method was used in this research. Observation and interview were used as primary data and relevant document was used as secondary data. Data collected technique was carried out through conducting  preliminary study, informal interviews, and studying relevant documents. Data was analyzed through reduction, display, and verification. The research showed that the unity and politics agency already carried out its role in political education of the community in the level of sufficient. The community’s mind set, perception,  understanding, and weak participation were the impacts of implementation the  political education. Hence, the national unity and politics agency of Lubuklinggau attempt to carry out sustainable program of political education towards the community.
